Adding an alternator to your car (6 or 12 Volt) will necessitate the use of a pulley that matches the pulleys used on your car. When using the Hudson original Wide belts this pulley meets that need. It can be obtained from:

HUDSON STARTER MOUNTING BOLT
Hudson Starters require two of these collared bolts to ensure the Bendix engages the flywheel correctly. The bolt is inserted into pockets cast into the bell housing before it is bolted to the engine block and rear flex plate.
